What is XNation there to achieve?
Since the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey, I have engaged with different startups, small businesses and observed them. In my recent company SubmitApp, I had the chance to do this with many educational institutions and service platforms. I looked for the patterns in their success and put close attention to their activities. And… There was one pattern I realized which made my previous thoughts even stronger. Their marketing efforts. Businesses or institutions who are successful are equipped by the right expertise and talent who are consistently putting the company’s message out there, in front of people. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying marketing is “the only thing” that will separate the successful from the average, however, it looks like it is the crucial piece that makes things work or not, especially in the long term. Understanding the necessity of marketing, and in our day, digital marketing, gave me the desire to help organizations and individuals with their effort by bringing the crucial amplifier, the magnifier, the multiplier… digital marketing.
Working with the schools in recent years and being an international student myself, I decided to help schools to reach many other students candidates like I was one once. I dedicated myself to bring them the right expertise and practices on digital marketing so that they enter into new markets, reach many other student candidates, and increase their chances to provide their education to more people like me.
While my understanding for the necessity of digital marketing became stronger, I also realized a problem in the market. Even though schools or, in this case many small businesses, too, who were building an in-house marketing team, or outsourcing their services to external talent or marketing companies, were not approaching digital marketing in the right way. Most of the time, they were investing into one or two marketing services and hoping that it would work. And while they were doing that, there was no system but instead individual short term efforts, and many were just done for the sake of doing digital marketing. Here, I am not blaming or undermining anybody on their efforts, I am just providing my observations and I know that most of the time this is something people miss as they are busy running their organizations, or sometimes they do not have the right consultancy or expertise to provide these insights and guidance for their organizations and teams.
Understanding this problem in the market, I designed the XNation Digital Accelerator Program to come up with a holistic approach that will enhance the effectiveness of each piece for the digital marketing activities conducted to market the organization to people, and most importantly future students and their families. So if we ask the question once again, what is XNation there to achieve?
